Another sign of the winter season is KELOLAND Live Doppler HD Winter Special and we’ve been working hard putting the final touches on this year’s special.
Just a few highlights of the show include, of course, Scot Mundt's winter season snowfall forecast which he will present during the Winter Special but Brian, Jay, and I have also put together some good info.
I looked closer at the different snowflake shapes and how that can affect a forecast. Brian Karstens looks at how winter affects plants in KELOLAND and Chief Meteorologist Jay Trobec reviews the brand new GOES-16 satellite and all that it can do in relation to severe weather forecasting.
So be sure to tune in Monday, November 20, at 6:30 PM, right after the KELOLAND News at 6.
The signs of winter are becoming a norm in KELOLAND. We’ve already seen a few rounds of light snow pass through and the temperatures have been getting colder over the last few weeks.
