Another round of snow is ahead for KELOLAND, hopefully the last round! You can see the rain and snow starting in western SD this afternoon, moving east tonight. We think Sioux Falls will have snow after midnight. This storm will not have the strong winds we had this weekend, but some gusts could be 20-30 mph.
Our new snow forecast is still heaviest in NW IA. Sioux Falls should be around 2-5". We expect very light snow in the far north. Temperatures will be warm enough tomorrow to start the melting process.
We'll melt some snow today with highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
Lows tonight will mainly be in the 20s with the snow.
Temperatures should recover in western SD into the 50s, but winds will be stronger there. Highs will be in the 30s in the east.
Ready for some warmer weather? We see good evidence to support 50s and 60s here next week!
