SD Airbnb Hosts Make More Than $4 Million In 2017

More of you are making money by letting strangers stay at your house.

South Dakota Airbnb hosts made more than $4 million last year.  They also welcomed 41,000 guests.

You might think of Airbnb hosts as millennials who are looking to make a little extra cash, but almost a quarter of them in the state are actually 60 years old or older.

65 percent of them are women.

If you wonder where hosts are making the most money, it is in Rapid City.

Lead comes in in second, and Sioux Falls is third.
